'UBA SEO: Nisenan Culture & Art is HUṠWEJ’s brick-and-mortar space in downtown Nevada City gallery featuring exhibits, art, and a custom theater. It acts as a Cultural center that brings visibility to the Nevada City Rancheria Nisenan Tribe in their Ancestral Homelands through immersive, educational, and thought-provoking art. It also serves as a collaborative and accessible space for advocacy, healing, and Cultural revitalization, fostering community dialogue and honoring Indigenous history through Nisenan voices.
